Miley Cyrus waxed lyrical about her father on The Voice on Monday calling him ‘the perfect and the only mentor’.
The 24-year-old Wrecking Ball singer had brought in Billy Ray Cyrus as a guest mentor for the Battle Rounds of the show.
The pop star and her country music dad coached Janice Freeman, 32, from California, and 34-year-old Katrina Rose from New York.
Janice, a mother and cancer survivor, battled the Queens-based kickboxing instructor with W.O.M.A.N. by Etta James.
‘This song by Etta James is what Team Miley is all about this season, it’s really about the power of womanhood/ I’m really excited I think it totally encompasses what we are trying to say,’ Miley proclaimed.
